Summer Trip Kanatal Destinations

In the summer, when the sun blares across the plains of India and cities turn into furnaces with temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, Dhanolti and Kanatal emerge as a tranquil sanctuary in the Himalayan foothills of Uttarakhand. Situated at 8,726 feet, this picturesque hill station beckons with its cool breeze, snow-capped peaks and vibrant seasonal bustle. The peak of summer from May to June is Dhanolti and Kanatal’s busiest time, when families, honeymooners and adventure seekers flock to escape the heat and enjoy all it has to offer. The weather is almost perfect for adventure and sightseeing – but the popularity of this season has its charms. Is this the right time for you to visit Dhanolti and Kanatal?

Pleasant weather

Dhanolti and Kanatal are the main attractions of Uttarakhand in summer, which is a far cry from the lower regions. Day temperatures usually range between 14°C and 20°C, warm enough for a comfortable walk but cool enough to feel refreshing. Nights drop to around 10°C (50°F), necessitating the wearing of light woollen clothes – a nice change from the sticky heat elsewhere. The sun shines very brightly at this altitude, so it is wise to wear sunscreen and a hat.

Peak season makes Dhanolti and Kanatal a hot spot and brings huge crowds of tourists. If you want solitude or are short of space, then this resort is the perfect place for you, located in a quiet place in the middle of the forest.
